Went shopping hiking according to divine instruction. A big shopping in the Southside IGA Woree. I bought 5-bags things. It was raining no much traffic so I picked items one by one and left them on a check out table. I told the cashiers (one male, one female) I am still picking things several times. They didn't say I cannot leave items there. When I finish, the female cashier complained about my product pile, saying they are inconvenient to them. I asked why they cannot move the products to somewhere (a box or trolley for example). The female cashier said it is not her job. I don't mind using trolley next time for big shopping. 17.2km I went to Piccones IGA Edmonton tonight for fresh fruits (more options). Half of the trip I have about 8kg food in my backpack. I avoid carry things in hiking before. So even the distance isn't a record (I went to Gordonvale before), it is still a good excercise. I used my arms a lot. A freight train was seen on the way. People I met guessed my ethnicity wrong. I am Chinese, was seen as South East Asian and Japanese. Problem of not typical? I think it is because I am more balanced/complete/whole so it is hard to categorise me. |

I also hear happy toads song somewhere on the way. I would like to talk about so called pests/weeds here. Cane toads are introduced by humans to work, not their fault. Their "poison" is for self defense. If you kill cane toads for believing they are pests, then your energy is the bigger predator. The story is similar to the treatment of African American. My garden has stinky cat poops and rotten food once a while but you don't smell them. Because the essential oils of our plants, the rain the soil, the microbes cancel it. We have enough plants. Walked about 7km to several location of Cairns central, just got back by bus. I walked past some working facility of rubbish process on Ray Jones drive. The smell was bad in a large area. This types of air/environment pollution is tragedy (I am sensitive to smell). It just accumulated the bad air of lots of people. I felt sorry for the workers. Then I was thinking, waste (water and solid waste) process should go decentralized in urban planning. Every household should recycle, compost, solve problem locally as much as we can. Did they know the junk/animal-protein they put in would have to decompose and come out pollute the air: Protein poop are very stinky. Same problem with slaughter house. I walked to Caravonica today, Kamerunga Bridge, where it was flooded by Barron river during cyclone Jasper last Dec. I walked back with fruits I picked. About 29 km. I got back from milky pine park. The area is magic: it is on the hill, dense rainforest. I can just tell it is a territory of trees when I go in. Although I am not very sure which of my sense tells me this. Smell? Maybe. More a holistic sense I think. I can feel it is the realm of spirits, different law from human cities. There are houses in there. It is like living in the rainforest. The west side of Cairns is large area of ancient rainforest. The trees are constantly spelling magic to the surrounding areas. The good vibe we feel as far as our neighborhood (one suburb away) is exactly from them. Mighty forest, please accept the worship of lowly humans😍 |
